Editorial method

We want every page to be accurate, useful and honest about its limits. This is how we work.

Official sources first

Facts such as the number of questions, the pass mark, fees and language levels come from official sources: laws, government websites and the exam organisers. Each page lists its sources and the date we last checked them.

Practice questions

  • Where an official question catalogue may be reused, we publish its questions word for word and name the source. For example, the catalogue of Germany’s Einbürgerungstest is part of an official regulation.
  • Where it may not, we write our own original questions based on the official facts and label them as practice questions.
  • Every answer is checked twice before publication, and explanations link to the official source wherever they rely on one.

How we use AI

We use AI tools to help draft explanations and translations. Nothing is published until it has passed automatic checks and an independent second review against the official source.

Translations

Each page is written in one language. Exam content stays in the exam’s own language, for example the official German questions of the Einbürgerungstest, with a translation shown beneath it. Translations are reviewed before a page is published in that language.

Corrections

Rules change. If you spot a mistake or an outdated fact, please write to contact@freeexampath.com. We correct confirmed errors promptly and update the check date.

Our guides explain how tests work. They are not legal or immigration advice. Requirements depend on your personal situation, so always confirm them with the official authority.
